EJ's to Feed PHT Team
Members at Summer Camps!

PHT is proud to announce that EJ's Tavern in Baden will be providing nutrition for all of our PHT summer camp participants. EJ's is a staple in the Baden and New Hamburg area with many residents that travel from outside the area to enjoy the food and hospitality of this wonderful establishment. Matt and Jackie Rolleman, the owners of EJ's, have 3 of their own boys who play rep hockey so they understand the importance of nutrition towards the overall success of hockey player.

Meal plans will be offered as an option to parents who join the PHT Summer Camps the weeks of August 13th and 20th. PHT thanks EJ's for their support in this endeavor to continually offer the best hockey programs in the Tri-City area.

Green Gloves Adds Ryan Black to Coaching Staff

Green Gloves Spring Hockey- division of Phase Hockey Training is pleased to announce the addition of Ryan Black as head coach of our 1999 AAA Spring team. Ryan played 4 seasons in the OHL with Peterborough and London before being drafted in the 5th round by New Jersey in 1992.

Ryan currently coaches the Center Wellington Fusion 1999 AA team and is a great addition to the Phase Team.

Ryan has started recruiting players for this Springs team – that will be competing in the Hockey Hi-Lites tournament May 11-13th and Collingwood Blue Thunder June 1-3rd .

John is an internationally recognized presenter on the topics of Skate Sharpening, Servicing and Contouring as well as being the leading "Hands On Instructor" in the art of contouring, sharpening and skate repair. Past accolades include presentations at NCCP Division 1 Coaches seminars, regional and international seminars. John also developed a sharpening program and video for Canada's largest buying group, SDC, better known as Source for Sports where in the past 14 months has trained over 150 dealers coast to coast across Canada. (Skate Sharpening Video p/n VID - 01) Not only is John one of the most proficient presenters, he is also known internationally as one of the best skate and equipment technicians in the world. Testament to this is that John managed the Team Service Room at the 2005 World Hockey Championships in Vienna Austria (1995 as well) were he worked hand in hand with professional equipment managers for all the countries entered.

Mary-Alice Martin joins Phase Hockey Training as Head
Power Skating Instructor

Mary-Alice is regarded as one of the top power skating instructors in the area, she brings over 30 years of experience as a power skating coach. Mary-Alice has been teaching skating to hockey players as a head instructor for Blade One with her long time good friend and colleague Bridgette Wolf. Mary-Alice not only trains players on proper skating technique and stride correction she has also begun to mentor some of the regions young up and coming power-skating instructors.

Mary-Alice began and designed the skating program for the K-W Skating Club and continued this program for over 10 years. Currently, she works with junior, college and professional hockey players in the offseason and with Minor Hockey teams in the winter months. We are very pleased to have her join Phase as our Head Power Skating Instructor.
